Our goal is to work with health care providers and members toward positive health outcomes.

Wellness Programs

Members have access to exercise and weight loss resources (including discounts for Weight Watchers), tobacco cessation, savings on eyeglasses, child safety products, and advice from nurses any time, and much more.

Health Management

A team of nurses offers ongoing support to manage health issues including diabetes, coronary artery disease, heart failure, hypertension, tobacco cessation, osteoporosis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)

Case Management

We can work with physicians and members to coordinate care for complex medical issues. Our case managers provide individual support to members such as post-hospital follow-up and answering questions about treatments.

Clinical Guidelines

Geisinger Health Plan's clinical guidelines are evidence based, reflect the current literature and research about treatment protocols, and reflect enterprise experience and best practices.

Geisinger Health Plan provides employers and members with a Web-based tool that enables them to objectively evaluate hospital treatment data by weighting what is most important to them.
