Beverly C. Blaisure, M.D.
Medical Director, Western Region
Beverly C. Blaisure, M.D., is the medical director of Geisinger Health Plan’s Western region, which includes Blair, Cambria, Cameron, Centre, Clearfield, Huntingdon, Jefferson, Juniata and Mifflin counties.
She has been an associate physician in family practice at Geisinger Medical Group Philipsburg since 1980 and serves as chairperson of the Health Plan's credentials committee and women's health committee.
She received her bachelor's degree from The Pennsylvania State University, in University Park, and her medical degree from Temple University Medical School, in Philadelphia. She completed her residency at the Harrisburg Hospital, where she served as chief resident.
Blaisure is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Pennsylvania Academy of Family Practice. She is also a speaker for the American Academy of Pediatrics Immunization Education Program.
