Geisinger Gold releases 2010 Lycoming county Medicare options
DANVILLE, PA Medicare beneficiaries in Lycoming County now have the choice of nine Medicare Advantage plans offered through Geisinger Gold, including three plans with a $0 premium.
Geisinger Gold offers several options for Medicare beneficiaries in Lycoming County including Medicare Advantage HMO, PPO, private fee-for-service and a Medical Savings Account (MSA) plan.
New this year, Geisinger Gold is offering a plan designed for individuals with diabetes and/or certain heart conditions. To promote regular visits to their primary care doctor, Geisinger Gold's Special Needs Plan offers lower office copayments, coverage for diabetic supplies at $0 copay and prescription drug coverage.

Geisinger Gold plan premiums offered in Lycoming County range from $0 to $130 depending on the coverage offered. Prescription drug coverage is available for an additional premium or included in the plan. A stand-alone prescription drug plan is also available.
These options will be available to qualified Medicare beneficiaries during Medicare's annual election period, November 15, 2009-December 31, 2009.
