Lancaster General Hospital signs agreement with Geisinger Health Plan


DANVILLE, PA – Lancaster General Hospital has joined Geisinger Health Plan’s network of participating hospitals and providers. The agreement adds more than 230 physicians to the Health Plan’s network. The agreement covers Lancaster General Hospital, Lancaster General Women & Babies Hospital, Lancaster General Health Campus and seven other outpatient health centers throughout the county.

The hospital agreement terms went into effect March 27 and will be effective for three years. The contract applies to all Geisinger Health Plan’s product lines.

“Lancaster General Hospital provides patients with compassionate, efficient health care,” says Michael Morucci, GHP’s vice president of marketing and sales. “We are happy to offer Lancaster General Hospital as a health care choice for our members. This new contract will allow our members to receive services close to home.”
