DANVILLE, PA – Barnes-Kasson Hospital in Susquehanna has joined Geisinger Health Plan Gold’s network of participating hospitals and providers. In addition, Barnes-Kasson Hospital agreed to continue providing health-care services to all other Health Plan members.
The new three-year agreement went into effect March 9. Geisinger Health Plan members can continue to use the services of Barnes-Kasson Hospital.

Barnes-Kasson serves the community’s inpatient general acute care needs and provides the women of the community with family center obstetrical and new born care. Outpatient services provide convenient hours for early risers and late afternoon appointments. Saturday appointments are also available. Physical therapy and occupational therapy are strong components to the rehabilitation care both in the swing bed unit as well as the skilled nursing service.
